The most valuable message you can send. Festival information is genuinely difficult and sources disagree, so we expect to be wrong sometimes. What helps most:

• The exact page URL you are looking at.
• What the page currently says.
• What it should say, and at least one published source we can check — a panchang, a state government notification, a temple’s own announcement, or a community organisation’s calendar.

We correct verified factual errors promptly and the page’s last-updated date changes with the fix. We do not quietly delete a contested point — where sources genuinely differ, the page is changed to say that they differ.

If you run a sweet shop, a decorating service, a jeweller, a clothing store, a florist, a puja store, a caterer or an event company and you want to appear during a festival season, send us the business name, the category, the city, a one-line description of what you do, and a phone number or website.

The listing options and the full rules are published on the advertise page. Rates are per campaign and stated on request — there is no auction and no hidden bidding. Every paid listing carries a visible label; we do not offer unlabelled placements at any price.

Being upfront about this saves you an email. We cannot:

• Give you a muhurat time for your city. A precise timing depends on your coordinates and on which panchang you follow, and a number from us would be worse than useless. Use a location-specific panchang.
• Give religious or astrological advice. We describe how festivals are observed; we do not advise on what you personally should do.
• Tell you where to buy something or whether it is in stock. We have no product or inventory data at all, which is exactly why the gift guides describe categories rather than products.
• Accept a payment for a review, a ranking or a recommendation. Those are not for sale, at any price.
• Remove a festival because someone objects to it being listed. We describe festivals that are widely observed; we do not take sides on religious or political disputes about them.

Honest expectations rather than a service-level promise: corrections are usually handled within a few days, listing enquiries within a week, and everything else when there is time. This is a small editorial operation, not a support desk, and pretending otherwise would set you up to be disappointed.

If a festival date is imminent and you have found an error, say so in the subject line — time-sensitive corrections are handled first.

The site is built mobile-first, works without JavaScript for the vast majority of its content, respects reduced-motion preferences, keeps a readable type scale that does not depend on hover, and does not text-align centre long prose. Tool output is real text rather than an image of text, so it can be enlarged or read aloud.

If something is unusable with a screen reader, a keyboard, or a large text setting, tell us the page and what happened. Accessibility bugs are treated as bugs, not as feature requests.

If you are writing about the site, you are welcome to cite any page and link to it. We can confirm the sourcing behind a specific date or claim on request. We do not have traffic statistics we are willing to publish, because a number we cannot independently verify is not one we want quoted.
